Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 25, 2026

This policy explains how Dosie handles information for the website and the private medication protocol tracker.

Plain Language Summary

Dosie is a private medication protocol tracker. It helps you record doses, vials, application sites, cadence status, symptoms, and recent history.

The app is not a healthcare provider, medical device, pharmacy, telehealth service, or substitute for professional medical advice.

V1 is designed around local-first tracking. Your core tracker records are stored on your device unless a future feature clearly asks you to sync, export, or share them.

Information You Enter

You may choose to enter medication names, categories, dose amounts, dose units, vial information, cadence settings, application sites, symptoms, severity, notes, and related tracker history.

This information can be health-related and sensitive. You should enter only information you are comfortable storing in a private tracker on your device.

Dosie uses these entries to show your home status, last dose, vial level, next-dose status from your own cadence, site history, symptom history, and local tracker counts.

Account and Subscription Data

If account, backend, or subscription features are enabled, Dosie may process limited account and subscription metadata such as authentication identifiers, email address, app version, platform, entitlement status, and subscription status.

Payment processing is handled by app store or subscription infrastructure. Dosie does not receive your full payment card number.

Tracker records and account metadata are different categories of data. The V1 product goal is to avoid sending private dose, vial, application site, or symptom logs to analytics or advertising services.

Device and Technical Data

We may process basic technical information needed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the app or website, such as app version, operating system, device type, crash information, and request metadata handled by infrastructure providers.

The marketing website may receive ordinary web request metadata through hosting providers, including IP address, browser information, and timestamps.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the tracker, save and display your entries, manage app settings, maintain account or subscription access when enabled, respond to support requests, debug issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your private tracker entries to provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations, personalized dosing advice, interaction advice, or protocol optimization.

Sharing

We do not sell private tracker records. We do not share private tracker records for targeted advertising.

We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the app, website, authentication, subscriptions, hosting, support, security, or diagnostics. Service providers are expected to process information only for the service they provide.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar business transaction subject to applicable law.

Local Storage and Security

Current tracker records are stored locally by the app. Protecting your device, passcode, backups, and app access is important because local records may include health-adjacent information.

No security method is perfect. We work to use reasonable safeguards, but we cannot guarantee that information will always be secure, available, or error-free.

Out of Scope for V1

V1 does not include Apple Health, meal scanning, sleep tracking, bloodwork tracking, community features, an AI medication assistant, or personalized protocol optimization.

If those features are added later, this policy should be reviewed and updated before launch to describe the additional data flows.

Your Choices

You can add, edit, or delete tracker entries inside the app where those controls are available. You can also uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device, subject to your device backup settings.

If you contact support, avoid sending unnecessary health information. If you do include sensitive information, we will use it to respond to your request and maintain support records as needed.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. If a change materially expands how private tracker records are collected, used, or shared, the app should provide appropriate notice or consent where required by law.
